ABOUT US

HONEY I'M HOME - THE PAST, PRESENT & FUTURE OF LOKAL LOUDNESS IN THE COMMUNITY

Since the very first issue of Lokal Loudness hit over a dozen years ago our mission has been about two very important things: supporting lokal and regional independent artists and doing our part to support area charities and organizations, particularly those dedicated to the future of our city's youth.

Since 1994, Lokal Loudness has presented one of the areas longest running events, the Kevin Brown Rocking the Stocking Benefit Concert, which until 2004 lent it's fund raising efforts to support the Empty Stocking Fund. In 2001 a small seed was planted with the help of Coco Rubio of Soul Bar Productions and Chuck Williams of 95 Rock and the 12 Bands of Christmas was born. Since that first event, Mr. Rubio, with the help of Joe Stevenson and Ruskin Yeargain, has turned the now annual concert AND cd into the holidays premiere fund raising event. Starting in 2005, Rocking the Stocking will benefit the great new organization KID'S RESTART.

You don't have to wait until the holidays to give. You can donate to Lokal Loudness' continual community work here:
