CHOICE AWARDS TO HONOR ARTISTS WHO PASSED IN 2016 February 16, 2016 / by John "Stoney" Cannon Years ago the CSRA witnessed a regular run of compilation releases by Lokal Loudness entitled "Meltdown" and each year the release recognized artists who had passed away in recent years. This year's Choice Awards looks to do something similar. The close of 2015 and start of 2016 saw many of music biggest stars move on to that big concert hall in the sky. Throughout 2015 the CSRA also lost some of her most cherished music artists. On April 15, 2016 at Sky City Augusta will do their best to recognize these artists who have made an important mark on the Augusta/CSRA music community. To make sure that no musical artists from the area who passed in 2015 are left out, Lokal Loudness is asking the community to send info and pictures of artists lost in 2015 to info@lokalloudness.com. All help will be appreciated. This years Choice Awards will be a free event. Nominations/voting can be done on our home page.
