AFTER 30 YEARS NO DAY IN THE COUNTRY FOR SPRING 2016 March 17, 2016 / by John "Stoney" Cannon After 30 years of bringing a day of outdoor country music fun to the CSRA each spring, the annual Day in the Country music festival will be skipping spring and possibly 2016 altogether. Citing an increase of music festivals in the spring as well as availability and rising costs of artists for the change, event organizers have started to seek out other options for this fall. For now fans of the annual event will have to make due with the other festival options happening during the springtime.
