4TH ANNUAL LITTLE ROY & LIZZY MUSIC FEST THIS MONTH April 7, 2016 / by John Stoney Cannon April 28-30 at Elijah State Park in Lincolnton will be the site for the fourth annual Little Roy & Lizzy Music Festival featuring 3-days of roots music, food, and fun. The event will actually kick off on Wednesday April 27th at 6pm with a free barbeque supper for all 3-day ticket holders with the festival itself starting the next day, Thursday April 28th, at noon. Thursday’s artists include Karl Shiflett & The Big Country Show, Nothin’ Fancy David Church, and Jeff and Sheri Easter. The Golden Valley Crusaders, Phillip Steinmetz & His Sunny Tennesseans, Joe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers, Rhonda Vincent & The Rage, and Gene Watson & The Farewell Party Band will perform on Friday. Music on Saturday will feature The Marksmen, The Band Kelley, The Spinney Brothers, Ronnie Reno & The Reno Tradition and a special Shenandoah reunion. Camping is available at Elijah State Park on Strom Thurmond Lake (Clark’s Hill) for an additional $5 daily entrance fee.
