NEELY PLUMB, FATHER OF EVE PLUMP, IN 2016 HOF CLASS

Record producer/composer Neely Plumb, born in Augusta November 1917 and daughter of Eve Plumb of TV series The Brady Bunch has been added to this year’s Academy of Richmond County Hall of Fame Class. Industry credits include the movie soundtracks The Sound of Music, which was number one on the pop charts for 2 weeks, The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, True Grit and Juliet.

Plumb joins a class that includes 1977 Pulitzer Prize winner David M. Potter, senator John Pendleton King as well as Isaac S, Hopkins, Doug Dilts, Herman Lam, Montague Miller, Marion Wash, Angela Grubbs, and Charles Samuel Finch.
