VAN HALEN KICK OFF TOUR IN AUGUSTA July 14th, 2016 / by John Stoney Cannon July 14th, 1982 the original Van Halen began their 105-date ‘Hide Your Sheep’ tour at the Civic Center in Augusta, Georgia. The tour traveled through North America and South America culminating in 105 dates. It ended May 1983 with a show at the US Festival in California which included bands from the New Wave, Country and Heavy Metal genres.
