Best known for playing Morpheus in The Matrix trilogy, Jason "Furious" Styles in the 1991 film Boyz n the Hood and Tyrone "Mr. Clean" Miller in the 1979 war film Apocalypse Now, Fishburne went on to become the first African American to play Othello in a motion picture as well as win Tony and Emmy awards. Fishburne also played musician Ike Turner is Tina Turner biopic "What's Love Got to Do with It."
